The Kinship Structure of Ferns
The Kinship Structure of Ferns is a comic book, an audio recording, and a performance. An imaginary autobiography, it is built of vignettes over the course of a person's life, culminating in a visitation of past selves.

You can get copies of the book/recording by writing to me (let's trade!), or by going to Sparkplug Comic Books, Printed Matter, or Quimby's.

It was first performed in Chicago for the Hemispheric Institute of Politics and Performance's annual convergence. A clip of the performance at the Empty Bottle in Chicago can be seen here on YouTube. The performance also had a touring version, when I toured with it in the spring of 2009 as part of the Fingers Tour.
